    Classontheweb.com is an educational portal, designed to raise student achievement and inculcate genuine interest in academics as well as extra curricular activities. This portal provides useful as well as extensive information on all aspects of student, teacher and parent activity, in a simplified and easily understandable manner.
     

  2. On what platform does this portal work?
    It works on Windows with Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
     

  3. What do you mean by online education?
    Online education is making use of the newest and best educational resources on the Internet. Contrary to what you might think, learning online is highly engaging and offers many opportunities for interaction with both fellow students and faculty members who have rich experience in various fields.
      

  4. Is classontheweb.com free or paid portal?
         Users     can register freely and view some sample lessons. However for the total access to the subject contents contained in the Premium Section, one has to subscribe by paying a nominal amount for 100 hours of internet access.   5. What is Premium Section?
    Premium Section consists of highly focused superior quality content in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Social Studies, History, English,  Accountancy, Business Studies  and Economics for classes from VI to XII with more than 8000 animations and a wide variety of questions and answers, simulated objectives, activities, sample board question papers etc. To access the contents one has to subscribe to the Premium Section.   6. What is eLearning?
    eLearning is a term that describes learning done at a computer, usually connected to a network, giving us the opportunity to learn almost anytime, anywhere. eLearning is not unlike any other form of education - and it is widely accepted that eLearning can be as rich and as valuable as the classroom experience or even more so. 
     

  7. How good are your contents?
    We offer superior quality content for students of standards VI to the XII. Academicians well known for the depth and quality in their subjects prepare the contents. Hence quality and reliability of contents is assured.
     

  8. What is animated text?
    An animated textbook is a digitized text book with embedded animations and visuals.
     

  9. What is the reliability of content of your portal?
    Renowned teachers in the respective fields prepare the content and hence the quality of the content is assured.
     

  10. Can I reproduce the content for my project work?
    Reproducing from the site is not encouraged. However you can use the content for reference and new ideas.
     

  11. I am a Tamilnadu matriculation student. Does this portal cover the entire syllabus?
    Almost all the content of Science and Mathematics in the Tamilnadu matriculation syllabi are taken in as get set go, objectives, activities and virtual lab.
     

  12. Do you have students counseling area in your portal?
    Yes, we have a Personal Counsellor and a Personal Tutor who can be accessed round the clock.
     

  13. How old is this portal?
     Classontheweb was launched on 8th March 2000.
     

  14. How many students have taken up this connection?
    Large numbers of children in India and across the globe have subscribed and are using classontheweb.
     

  15. In what way is it different / superior to class teaching?
    Classroom teaching becomes monotonous after a certain period of time. But with online eLearning you can really enjoy learning, since it is interactive. You can learn from anywhere and everywhere. Especially, with regard to portal like classontheweb you can have your own personal tutor at home.
     

  16. Can you give references of schools / students where we can refer for utility?
    We do have the list of schools situated across the country.
     

  17. Can I download the animations or content for my future viewing?
    Downloading of animations is not allowed. Downloading of pages is not suggested as content is updated frequently.
     

  18. Can you give free trial period so that we can try it out and then decide?
    Once you logon to our site, you can go through the sample lessons.
     

  19. How do I contact?

  20. Is there any discount on your rates?
    There is a certain amount of discount for students of schools that have subscribed for Classontheweb Intranet Version. You can avail the same when you subscribe through the school that has installed the Intranet Version.
     

  21. Is there any free site like yours?
    There are many sites. But it may not be exhaustive as expected by a student. However, choosing the best depends on the student.
     

  22. Will I have to become member or pay for asking doubts?
    This utility is free of cost for all subscribed users. You can logon to any site and get an email ID of your own and then send us your queries at classontheweb@everonn.com.
     

  23. How to register for Classontheweb.com?
    To register, first log on to classontheweb.com. You will notice four categories under ‘Register as’ in the top page. Click on the link and fill in the details in the page displayed and click on ‘Submit’. You will receive a message confirming your registration.
     

  24. How to Login?
    Open www.classontheweb.com site. Enter your Login Name and Password and click on the ‘Login’ button. If you have problem while login, click here to view more details.
     

  25. If I have any doubts, what to do?
    If you have any doubts you can mail your queries to classontheweb@everonn.com.
     

  26. What is Intranet Version?
    Intranet Version is the offline mode which is given to schools by installing it in the school server. They need not be connected to the internet. Click here to read more details.
     

  27. How many schools have adopted Classontheweb Intranet Version?
    Classontheweb has been installed in about 65 schools comprising Army Schools, and various public / private schools across the country. It is also installed in 38 schools in Brazil funded by the Bradesco Foundation.
       

  28. Do you intend to replace the teacher with Online Teaching?
     No - we firmly believe that Classontheweb will supplement the Teacher and will aid him or her in getting key concepts across to students in a visually explicit manner.
     

  29. Do you suggest we throw away our textbooks?
    No - we think your textbooks should always be available with you while you surf Classontheweb - you'll find that many things get clearer when you use Classontheweb in tandem with your books.
     

  30. Will I get through my subjects if I just use the Online Teaching you provide?
    We think you will be able to get your fundamentals cleared with Classontheweb, however, you will most certainly need your teacher and your textbooks to top your class.
     

  31. How will Classontheweb be useful to us Students?
    We have put in all this content so that you students can get your "fundas clear". At Classontheweb we're sure you will learn a great deal about so many things you may never get to see in your classes or in the lab. We think parents will be able to use Classontheweb to help brush up what they have learnt and then help you students with your homework and class work. Tell us if you find it otherwise!
     

  32. How often will you update the information on the site?
    We'll be updating information on the site on a day-to-day basis - improving animation, changing the visuals, adding content, etc. If your Board decides to change syllabi we'll be there to ensure you have the very latest syllabi online.
     

  33. Why don't you allow us to download the lessons so we can learn offline?
    For a start you will have to login to learn online but very soon we hope to allow you to download parts of lessons or even a whole lesson. Keep checking out the site whether the download option has been enabled.
     

  34. Do you plan to have Online Teacher featured in Hindi, Tamil and other languages?
    Yes, we certainly do plan to be able to "teach online in your mother tongue". Do write to us your choice of language.
     

  35. Who will be benefited?

    Principals
