Models of Classontheweb

We wish to introduce the following easily adaptable models of classontheweb as an effective teaching-learning supplement in school.

Model1: Classontheweb School Model (CSM)

Classontheweb School Model is a solution that is installed in the school network in order to access classontheweb contents anytime within the school network (LAN). This can be accessed by the teachers to teach their students anytime in their Computer Labs, Audio-Visual Lab, Science & Math lab or in each classroom as an effective teaching resource. The students have the facility to access contents anytime for their academic needs within school or at their home.

  • The school gets complete access to curriculum specific Virtual Textbooks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (plus Social Sciences, English Grammar, Business Studies, Economics and Accountancy for CBSE) for students of standards VI to XII with thousands of embedded flash animations to explain the most difficult-to-understand concepts very effectively.

Model 2: Classontheweb Comprehensive Model (CCM)

CCM facilitates the student to avail maximum benefit of the subject content of classontheweb online, apart from being used as an effective teaching supplement in school.

Salient features of Classontheweb Comprehensive Model (CCM)

In CCM, the following will be provided in addition to CSM:

  • An exclusive login ID will be provided to each student and teacher for unlimited online access of classontheweb round-the-clock, for better enhancement of day-to-day learning
  • Online Assignment hosting facility for teachers/school with an option of choosing questions from classontheweb question database
  • Dynamic School Notice Board completely managed by school administrators
  • Online Messaging facility between teachers, students and administrators
  • Online chat facility between students - students/teachers belonging to any class/school.

Model 3: Classontheweb Academic Model (CAM)

In CAM, the school gets an additional round the year exam support coupled with CSM or CCM.
This ideal Academic Model serves as a total solution for the teaching-learning community breaking the monotony of routine assessment/exam pattern, giving room for exploratory and innovative teaching-learning practices.

Salient features of Classontheweb Academic Model (CAM)

  • The school will be provided with complete question papers with key for 3 mid - term and 3 terminal examinations for the Non - Board appearing classes
  • 3 mid - term and 2 terminal examination question papers with key and 1 exclusive whole syllabus Model Exam with critical evaluation for X and XII students
  • The school will be provided with different ways of assessing the students, inter/intra class, between and within subjects on a ranking and percentile basis
  • If the school is in agreement for CCM model, online hosting of results for parents’ verification will also be made available

 Model 4: Classontheweb ‘Knowledge Station’

This model contains the features of classontheweb CSM model. This model is a combination of high configuration, high capacity latest variant world-renowned branded laptop embedded with classontheweb Computer Aided Learning software delivered to the school with all back up support.

The laptop can be used for other presentation purposes by the schools.

The laptop can be connected with the existing LCD Projectors and use the pack as an effective presentation kit.

Enables the teachers to carry to the desired classrooms/presentation rooms/AV Rooms or inter school presentations.

Classontheweb ‘Knowledge Station Combo’

In this model, classontheweb Computer Aided Learning Software will be supplied with the bundled offer of laptop and suitable LCD/DLP projector.

The school can choose the LCD/DLP projectors depending upon the room size.

Apart from theses models we also offer consultancy to set up comprehensive and cost effective solutions for audiovisual presentations and any other school related services.

Hardware and Software Specifications

Minimum Server Requirements:

  • Pentium III or higher with 550 MHz Processor
  • Minimum 256 MB RAM
  • Minimum 1 GB Hard Disk Space on ‘C’ drive
  • Parallel Port / USB Port
  • Network Connection (LAN) with 100 mbps Ethernet Card and hub/switch
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or higher 
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
  • Macromedia Flash Plug-in (provided by Classontheweb)

Minimum Client Requirements:

  • Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP
  • Celeron / Pentium systems with 500 MHz Processor and with minimum 100 MB hard disk space
  • Minimum 64 MB RAM 
  • Network Connection (LAN) with 100 mbps Ethernet Card and hub/switch 
  • 800 * 600 Screen Resolution with minimum 16 bit (True) colour. 
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
  • Macromedia Flash Plug-in (provided by Classontheweb)

Note:

  • Internet Explorer is required to access/browse Classontheweb in all the systems using the LAN.
  • Display Card driver should be installed to set 800 * 600 screen resolution with 16 bit true colour. This is required to view animations properly.
